Crowned the Queen of the Green Skincare Movement by Forbes Magazine, Tata Harper, the Colombian-born founder of her eponymous skincare line, relied on Beautyterm to revamp the brand’s packaging translations.

Tata and her husband turned a dreamy 1200-acre Vermont farm known as Julius Kingdom into a multinational luxury-beauty business, where they live and work with their 3 children and countless dogs.

Produced exclusively on the farm, which is nestled in the heart of Champlain Valley, the collection is dedicated to toxic-free wellness.  It features many raw ingredients grown in the surrounding fields of lavender and the organic garden.


Beauty and health guru Gwyneth Paltrow described it as “pure, natural luxury”:

Debuting with a single scent Tentation 1: Contre Lui, a fragrance for men and women, Eve & Dap1 contre luinée is conquering the world of fragrance one note at a time, while helping erase barriers between genders.

The niche perfume house celebrates sustainable luxury through its commitment to “respect mankind and the environment in order to become part of an inspiring, sustainable way of life”.

Tentation 1: Contre Lui was composed by the talented Delphine Thierry, nose behind several scents by Lubin, Masque Milano, Cloon Keen Atelier, 12 Parfumeurs Francais and most recently Malbrun extraits. It is 100% natural, created without GMOs, artificial colors, synthetic fragrance or phthalates.

Recently featured at Fashion Preview Canada, Montreal’s main fashion showcase, Eve & Daphnée is now poised to take the Scandinavian market by storm.

MEET OUR CLIENT: Decorté

Saks Fifth Avenue and Japanese skincare leader Kosé Corporation team up to launch a new line of luxury skin care and color products under an exclusive distribution agreement.

Decorté is considered to be one of Asia’s best-kept skin care secrets. The brand combines ancient practices of Eastern medicine and technological innovation to produce revolutionary products based on nature, wisdom and advanced science.

Decorté will be available in Saks locations throughout the US and Canada, as well as on its website, starting in the spring of 2016. Supermodel Kate Moss will be a brand ambassador and the face of Decorté under a long-term partnership.

MEET OUR CLIENT: Rose-Marie Swift of RMS Beauty

Fortune Magazine picks the most admired businesses mostly on healthy financials and stock performance. Forbes says that the most admired qualities in business leaders include a strong vision, innovation, persistence and excellent ethics.

rose marie_finalOf course everyone has their own standards. We, for one, are big fans of day-to-day kindness and considerateness. In that department, celebrity make-up artist Rose-Marie Swift of RMS Beauty is our top winner. She definitely takes the cake when it comes to simple, unadulterated human interaction with people that work for her. And she has an extremely interesting story.

Rose-Marie has been a make-up artist for over 20 years. Her work has been featured in every major beauty magazine from Vogue, W, Harper’s, Numero, Interview, to Elle. Her make-up has appeared in ads for dozens of campaigns including Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Thierry Mugler, The Gap and Victoria’s Secret. She has worked with the biggest names in the industry including Gisele, Miranda Kerr, Milla Jovovich, Mario Sorrenti, Hedi Slimane and Terry Richardson.

Rose-Marie was originally a musician, the lead singer of a punk band called Insects, who were backing up the Ramones. She needed money to buy a microphone and ended up getting a gig doing stage makeup. One job lead to another and, eventually in 2004, Rose-Marie started a website called BeautyTruth, which generated a lot of press and even more work. People were asking for her opinion, many wanting to know what she thought about natural makeup brands. This is when Rose-Marie started playing around making her own formulations and experimenting with the models she worked for.

MEET OUR CLIENT: Nuori, reinventing the concept of freshness in beauty

Beautyterm is proud of its collaboration with Nuori, a new Scandinavian beauty brand hailing from Denmark. Founder Jasmi Bonnen, who previously worked for L’Oréal, has an approach to skincare that borrows from the world of food. She says that fresh is better and more effective:

 ‘We can offer consumers two distinct benefits: higher efficacy of ingredients and purer formulas.’

Many natural beauty brands have been in fact eagerly embracing this new philosophy.

The brand makes fresh, small batches of products every 12 weeks. The minimalist line, designed by New York agency NR2154 is stamped with two dates: a start-using-by date and an expiry date. Once products pass their dates, they are removed from the shelves and replaced with a fresh batch.

Jasmi plans to experiment with the freshness theme with a series of limited releases featuring seasonal ingredients.
