In Beauty Industry

We have it on good authority, i.e. that of allure, popsugar and, that one of our client’s products are making it to the list of newest skincare trends of 2020!

But first, what are these trends in a nutshell? Apart from those that have been lurking around for a while, like pro- and prebiotic skincare, aluminum-free deodorants, vegan, halal and scalp-care-as-skincare products, we now also have inhalable, by-product and nature-identical beauty …

The last category involves creating synthetic ingredients that have the same makeup as natural products in a bid to respect and protect the environment.

Our client The Inkey List was touted as a champion of this particular movement, along with their Niacinamide-based product – another trend for the new year.

Long overshadowed by vitamin C, a well-known antioxidant powerhouse, niacinamide is a multi-tasking vitamin B3 derivative. It does so many things that some experts think 2020 will be the year of niacinamide. It can revitalize, firm, and smooth skin, minimize the appearance of pores, stimulate new tissue growth and collagen production, calm redness, fight against free radicals, even out skin tone, etc. So, watch out!
